My first Weigh In since the holidays, and its a good one! 🙂 I lost 2 more lbs since last week, which means 41 pounds are gone, for.ever. (and ever and ever, lol!) WOOHOO! Round of applause for me, please & thank you. 😉 One more stinkin pound to go until Im (finally) down to my pre-pregnant weight. And then like, a billion more lbs to go until Im at my goal! AhHahaha! But Im taking baby steps, one goal at a time. I know Ill get there!
One thing I noticed, if I try to cut back on what I eat for the day, really restrict myself then I dont lose anything. If I eat like normal then I lost weight. Whats up with that? I guess my body needs good fuel to burn fuel. Key word, good fuel! I think its because Im still breastfeeding (at least 6 times in a 24 hr period) and you naturally burn 300-500 cals when you breastfeed. Some women drop the weight in a snap because they are nursing, other women (like me) tend to hold onto their weight because they are nursing. Plus, in order for your body to produce milk, youve got to feed it! Im going to have to go against what I normally would do when dieting, instead of calorie counting and restricting I need to eat a lot of healthy foods. Snack on veggies, nuts, fruit, bagels and avocado (my fav snack). A reason to eat more, hurray! Lol.
Anywho, 41 pounds! I lost a leg! 🙂 Crazy. Here are some examples of what weighs 40lbs:
